My rugelach does not look like Mollie Katzen’s rugelach. Then again, much of what I create does not look like Katzen’s work. Oh well. It’s still edible. Quite.

Oh my gosh, you made rugalach! My favorite!! I've never made rugalach before - they always seemed so complicated to me! I'm so impressed that you made them! Were they very confusing, or not as daunting as I've thought? :-)
ReplyDeleteYou are such a sweetheart. They weren't too confusing - but they were a little fattening for Katzen; I was surprised. Mine were a bit misshapen but they tasted a bit better than store-bought (or perhaps I'm projecting just because they're home-made?). Oh Astra, I miss you!! Talk this week?
